Glen Baxter (Leeds, 1944) ha publicado muchos libros desde los setenta, entre los que se cuentan El rayo inminente, Los crímenes de la mesa de billar y Ventiscas de tweed. Su trabajo ha aparecido en medios como The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Elle, Vogue, Le Monde y The Observer. Es Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, y expone frecuentemente en Nueva York, Ámsterdam, París o Londres, donde reside.
